Nammo - Global Process Architect ERP – Production & Planning
Nammo is an international aerospace and defense company headquartered in Raufoss, Norway with more than 4100 employees, 27 production sites and a presence in 12 countries, Nammo is one of the world’s
Production is at the heart of Nammo’s business. Every day, complex manufacturing operations across multiple countries rely on precise coordination between people, processes, materials, and capacity. To support this, Nammo has an established global ERP platform that connects core business processes across the company.
We are now looking for a Global Process Architect for Production & Planning to join our Global ERP Core Team. In this role, you will help shape how production and planning processes are designed, improved, and supported across our international manufacturing organization.
This is a role for someone who understands how industrial production works in practice – someone who can connect operational reality on the factory floor with structured processes, data, and digital tools.
Key Responsibilities
As Global Process Architect for Production & Planning, you will help ensure that Nammo’s production processes are supported by robust and standardized solutions across factories, business units and countries.
You will work closely with production managers, planners and supply chain teams across several countries, helping them improve how production is planned, executed and followed up. At the same time, you will collaborate with technical specialists and external partners to ensure that solutions support operational needs in a consistent and effective way.
Although the role is part of Corporate IT’s Global ERP Core Team, it is fundamentally a business-facing process role. Success in this position depends on understanding how production actually works — from materials and capacity to planning logic and shop-floor execution — and using that insight to improve processes and decision-making.
In this role, you will
take ownership of Nammo’s global processes for production and production planning
work closely with production environments at Nammo’s manufacturing sites
analyse processes and identify opportunities for improvement
translate operational needs into structured process and system requirements
support the standardisation of processes and data structures across sites
contribute to improvement initiatives, rollouts and onboarding of new factories
act as a key contact between production environments, business stakeholders and technical partners
You will often work in workshops and cross-functional settings, helping teams understand how processes interact and where improvements can be made.
A central part of the role is the “plan-to-produce” process, where planning, materials, capacity and execution come together. This includes areas such as production orders, material structures, resource planning and the interaction between production, purchasing, inventory and sales.
You will contribute to improving how these processes function across Nammo’s international operations, ensuring they support both operational efficiency and business goals.
Skills and Qualifications
We believe the right candidate has a strong background from industrial production environments and a genuine interest in improving how complex operations are managed.
Your experience may come from roles such as production planning, supply chain, manufacturing operations or process improvement within an industrial company.
You will likely bring
solid experience from production, planning or supply chain in an industrial environment
a strong understanding of production logic and planning processes (materials, capacity, flow, dependencies)
experience working with ERP-supported processes in manufacturing
the ability to analyse complex operational processes and identify improvements
an understanding of how production interacts with purchasing, inventory, sales and finance
Experience with ERP platforms such as Dynamics 365 is an advantage, but the most important qualification is your ability to understand and improve production processes.
To succeed in this role, you combine analytical strength with strong interpersonal skills. You are comfortable working across functions and cultures, and you build trust with both operational teams and technical specialists.
You communicate clearly and confidently, and you are able to explain complex topics in a structured and understandable way. At the same time, you are curious, proactive and motivated by solving real operational challenges.
