Program Manager - Demil - Nammo
Do you want to work where precision, responsibility and technical expertise truly matter - ensuring that complex systems are handled, transported, refurbished, and disposed of safely across the world?
As Program Manager Demil, you operate at the intersection of technology, safety, and global operations. You take ownership of a product area where there is no room for uncertainty, only structured decisions, deep technical understanding, and controlled execution.
From small-caliber ammunition to advanced missile systems, you ensure that products are managed throughout their full lifecycle, from safe handling and demilitarization to refurbishment and life extension. Your work directly contributes to making complex energetic materials safe to handle, transport, and dispose of — anywhere in the world.
This is a role for someone who remains composed under pressure, values precision over noise, and thrives in environments where technical credibility and sound judgment are essential.
Key responsibilities:
Own and execute the Demilitarization product strategy, ensuring alignment with business unit objectives, regulatory frameworks, and long-term plans. Define clear positioning and ensure services meet all technical, contractual, and compliance requirements.
Manage day-to-day product activities, providing technical clarification, supporting operational decisions, and ensuring alignment between strategy, ongoing projects, and execution across sites.
Act as the primary technical interface between engineering, operations, quality, compliance, supply chain, and external stakeholders. Ensure clear communication of product capabilities, constraints, and requirements.
Identify, assess, and manage risks related to products, contracts, and operations. Proactively address challenges that may impact safety, compliance, or delivery.
Provide structured reporting on product status, risks, and roadmap progress. Support contract offices with technical input for bids, reviews, and customer documentation.
Support the full product lifecycle — from demilitarization and disposal to refurbishment and replacement — including technical support in customer dialogue and resolution of post-delivery issues.
Who are you?
You are structured, proactive, and solution-oriented. You communicate clearly, build trust across teams, and stay composed when priorities shift. You take ownership, make informed decisions, and drive progress with both strategic insight and hands-on execution. Curious and quick to learn, you thrive in a technical environment and deliver high-quality results consistently.
We think you have:
Ammunition Technician (AT) Class 1, Ammunition Technical Officer (ATO), or equivalent
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience within ammunition, demilitarization, or energetic materials
Strong technical understanding of energetic materials and related processes
Experience working in or with multinational environments

Professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Advantageous
Experience from technical product development, defense industry, production environments, or similar
