As Head of Fleet Procurement and Financing, you will play a key role in shaping and scaling one of Hyre’s most important strategic areas. This is a strategic and highly commercial role with end to end ownership of fleet procurement and financing across the markets Hyre operates in. The role combines strategy, procurement, financial analysis and commercial execution. You will be responsible for developing a structured and scalable approach to fleet procurement and financing while driving key projects and decisions that support Hyre’s growth, profitability and operational flexibility.
Working closely with colleagues across Finance, Operations, Commercial and Management, you will translate business needs, growth ambitions and financial objectives into concrete procurement and financing decisions. This is a highly visible role with significant autonomy and the opportunity to influence one of Hyre’s most important strategic areas. You will report to the Chief Asset Officer.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Define and drive Hyre’s fleet procurement and financing strategy across markets, vehicle categories and ownership models
Translate business objectives, utilization targets and growth plans into concrete fleet acquisition and financing decisions
Build and run structured, data-driven procurement processes across Hyre’s markets
Evaluate and optimize financing solutions, including leasing, asset-backed financing and other capital-efficient alternatives
Develop and maintain relationships with vehicle suppliers, financing partners and strategic fleet partners across markets
Build commercial decision models covering pricing, residual values, financing structures and total cost of ownership
Monitor fleet performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability, flexibility and fleet economics
Establish scalable procurement frameworks, governance structures and decision-making processes
Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, Sales and other stakeholders to align fleet decisions with business needs
Own and contribute to key strategic initiatives that support Hyre’s growth, profitability and expansion across markets
Who are you?

You are comfortable working with complex financial and operational questions and have the ability to translate analysis into commercial decisions and measurable business results.

We believe you bring:
Experience from management consulting, corporate development, transaction services, procurement or similar analytical environments
Exposure to automotive, leasing, mobility, fleet management, car rental or vehicle financing industries
Proven ability to build financial models, business cases and commercial decision frameworks
Knowledge of financing structures, investment decisions or capital allocation questions
Track record of managing suppliers, external stakeholders or strategic partnerships
Experience working across multiple functions and stakeholder groups
Fluency in English and one Scandinavian language
Location
The role can be based in Oslo or Copenhagen. Regular travel across Hyre’s Nordic markets is expected as part of the role.
